Friendship Circle Presidency
As Friendship Circle Presidents, volunteers are given a unique leadership opportunity to deepen their understanding of individuals with unique abilities and the diverse needs within the community across North Broward and South Palm Beach.
Presidents receive specialized training and work directly with both participants and volunteers under qualified supervision. They apply this experience to help plan and lead meaningful programs, events, and activities designed to engage children and teens in inclusive, thoughtful, and enjoyable ways tailored to their needs and interests.
This leadership role develops responsibility, creativity, and a deeper sense of community impact while strengthening friendships throughout the Friendship Circle network.

“When I first joined Friendship Circle, I didn’t yet understand how meaningful the name truly was. Over time, I discovered the deep and lasting friendships that could be formed through this organization.
Although I had previously volunteered in other settings, I had never experienced anything as unique or impactful as Friendship Circle. Every event is thoughtfully planned, filled with engaging activities and opportunities that are enjoyable for all ages.
Each holiday provided me a chance to learn, connect, and celebrate together, while allowing teens and children to build genuine relationships. The Friends at Home program, in particular, gave me the opportunity to form a meaningful friendship with someone my age in my own community, someone I might not have met otherwise.
Friendship Circle is a truly special organization that strengthens omy community and brings people closer together in a way that is both meaningful and lasting.”
